I have just finished getting the engine going again on this mower. But while I was doing that I've been trying to find out some details about it on the internet and have been unable to find anything out about this mower. I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about it?

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure we can help here.
The Pathfinder was a Store Brand mower made by Victa for Myers.
Myers had been using the Pathfinder name for many years on other mowers
sold by them.

You won't find much on the internet about them. It is essentially a Victa Mayfair.
If you search for that you will find a lot of info.

If you are after specific information about the Mk Two Series 70 engine then
let us know. There are Victa experts on these forums that can assist you.

Hello all

This is an old post but there is a observation to be made
that has just occurred to me.

The Mayfair was Victa's stencil brand - meaning it could
be renamed and painted to a customer's choice if sufficient
quantities were ordered.

In other words 'Pathfinder' was the exclusive name Myer's
chose. It was made 'exclusively' for Myer stores by Victa.

Of some importance is the shape of 'Pathfinder' - a V shape,
like a boomerang...

I do not think the name and shape on the 1970's Mayfair is
coincidentally similar to the Pathfinder logo of the 1950s
and 1960s. I'm just not sure what that really means ...
