It is about 10 years old now so well out of warranty. I have been using the Masport 30w oil over the years and have just swapped to the Rover 30w oil. Would it be worth running some of that engine cleaner u add to the oil for your car to flush all the crap out and swap to a synthetic 4 stroke oil? If so what sort of oil should I get?

Briggs and Stratton only recommend that you use SAE30 grade oil.
