to fit my 70's Victa Mustang 160cc Green machine... This is the unit, the metal one: ![[Linked Image from i60.tinypic.com]](http://i60.tinypic.com/24ytohu.jpg) Ok Pete, we have a problem here because the one you have sent me does not fit because the top flange that slides into the main rear flap access slot is too wide and in the wrong spot! ...have a look at the image below and see the flange width difference as marked in YELLOW and the off position is marked by BLUE on both models of chute. I guess that there can't be too much of a difference here so what model is it for beside my 70's Mustang? ![[Linked Image from i62.tinypic.com]](http://i62.tinypic.com/9ji2z7.jpg)

Here is a better photo of the main issue. ![[Linked Image from i61.tinypic.com]](http://i61.tinypic.com/2r47k47.jpg) I'm thinking it must be the one for the later models...

The one you have pictured on the left is for the VC-125's & VC-160's only. I'll have a look at some of my manuals and see if I can give you more of an idea as to what is what.
Here for a good time, not a long time.

Ok, I have since got out the angle grinder and trimmed it up to fit neatly. It now fits perfectly like new and it performs beautifully!
I will post up some pics showing the required mini-cuts and bends to get it to a snug fit.
I was lucky in that it only required the removal of excess flashing and not the addition of any new metal...

No worries Bert, I've got some new ones of those. Thank's Pete! A quick zap with the angle grinder and "hey presto" one new Victor Chute for that overgrown barley under the trees... ![[Linked Image from i60.tinypic.com]](http://i60.tinypic.com/2edw7x1.jpg) Here is a detailed look at the angle grinder cuts that were performed for this chute style to fit my 160 cc Mustang: ![[Linked Image from i58.tinypic.com]](http://i58.tinypic.com/1zbt1c5.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i60.tinypic.com]](http://i60.tinypic.com/2nvfc06.jpg) Yes, I'm very happy with the result and if anyone else needs one of these 'Squizzy' has a few new ones left for the taking.

I had to make another separate cut and bend to stop the chute from bumping off the mower. It's very simple, secure and works well but you will have to wait for a picture to understand what is required...
