After looking through all the PDF manuals here and on the Ryobi web site, I have not found any parts lists, service manuals, exploded diagrams or even user manuals for my RST131ES trimmer. A rat or roach or something ate all my fuel lines and I dont have a clue now which pipe fits what hole.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your quick post back.
I had originally looked at a big list of Ryobi manuals in the ryobi section with no luck. Today I saw that there was a separate forum titled 'Brushcutter parts and manuals' but I cant get in. It says 'Access denied to this forum. This forum is either restricted to a certain group, or you may need to register and login in order to view the posts within.'....but I have registered and logged in?

:)G'Day SMOUCH I have a Ryobi RST131ES EXTRA SLASHER brush cutter. but..... I am missing the manual and parts list. I am still very confused as to how to get one??? :eek All I really need to know is whether I need to run it on PURE unleaded fuel oil mix @25:1 OR.... do I need to add the valvesaver drops also to the fuel mix ... as I dont know how old this model is. It was given to me as a wreck which I have since restored. A very nice unit when its going! Cheers, Yoda

Yoda, the parts list is available on this site but it will not help you with your question about whether to put some obscure additive in the fuel. The owner manual would be the best place to find what Ryobi recommend, but I can't find it on line anywhere. You might try sending a Private Message to Bruce, the Outdoorking site owner, since he has experience both as a dealer and a repairer.

Hi guys, I have done some research and I might be lucky and score a manual for this one....However from what I have gleaned, the RST131ES is a 2 stroke and as such would require no "valve-saver" in the fuel mix.
25:1 with a good quality 2stroke oil into ULP should do the trick.
BTW Yoda55, the original post you replied to is over 5 years old and Smouch is no longer a current member. wink
I will give you a heads-up if I score the manual for you. grin
cheers2

Thanks Grumpy and DeeJay,
Very much appreciated for the Info. I have no doubt that the user guide
for the RST131ES would be very popular with other members also.
I Don't know if Bruce would appreciate a PM in light of his comments above, But I will be in 'standby mode' if you can get it,DeeJay.

Cheers,
Yoda
