Looks like a typical victa 125/160 from the 70s.there is one that looks the same on eBay at the moment, but is green .It is named premier. This was a time when victa was using using popular car names.what the idea behind this is anyone's guess lol

Hello Sean and Pope

This was Victa's approach to making a utility mower safe for the 1970s.
And a damn good mower it was too. It's a Victa Special.

The orange colour and snap-lock handle lead me to believe it was first
introduced for the 1973 Range:

I have no idea how long they stayed in production.
Perhaps a photo of the series 70 decal will confirm what I think.

Hope this helps.

Nice pick up there Sean, I like the base on this one. Very retro, I remember that orange colour being in many a kitchen. Bench tops, appliances and wall paper all had orange. Jack the Victa brochure is a work of art, best point of sale material I have seen so far. I love the way it leads you into the range with the racing car driver then finishes with a recap of the features, you feel like your buying Jaguar not a Victa but your dollar is the most important thing.

It's a 160cc, by the way. And one of the relatively few Victa models that have a washdown port in the deck.

Cheers,
Gadge

I saw a base of these hidden away next to a building at school a few weeks ago, after a while it disappeared frown
