Now they are two sharp looking machines!
Kye, is the skirt in front of the right wheel there?

I'm no expert here but I feel like both of these would have originally had an impulse starter and a front mounted air filter where as these ones (Probably due to the hose cracking) have had snorkels fitted from powertorques by the look

Not great photos but you get the idea.

Jack would be able to shed more light on it I'm sure.

i'm not sure about the air filter but i do agree that it would have had an impulse starter though!

Yep, they're damn heavy. They used to say you needed to be built like a three legged sex offender to push one:

Spewing about the axles, i would have swapped the axle of mine + $5 (you keep the wheels) but i think mine are a little bit different frown

kye i was gonna get my grinders out and take the axle off, gently, clean it up, retapp the holes, weld in a new linkage arm? and replace the
metal strops that hold the axle on. any better ideas would be great but thats all i can think of

Hey Sean, I've read that 50/50 auto trans fluid and acetone makes a great home-brew WD-40 alternative that's supposed to be as good as the best store bought stuff.
One trick I learnt many moons ago for similar situations is to clean the bolt and tig a nut onto the offending bolt. The new nut gives a good head to get a spanner onto and the heat from the tig will heat up the bolt and help break the bond between the bolt and cutting deck.
Good luck
