I just picked this up off an old bloke who said it was given to him about I paid $40 and got the mower, two complete handles, two barrels with heads one without. A crank on its own, a complete crankcase assembly for a 125 and some obscure parts that may or may not be from a mower. Pics the mower below others to come. Any info or direction towards it would be helpful.

Based on some brochures and pictures l think maybe it is the 550 utility. I haven't checked numbers yet, but I believe it is a 125cc.

I threw a couple of those out recently, from what I hear not a lot of interest in them. The more I look at them the more convinced Victa at times just cobbled together mowers with what they had in stock at the time. Handles seem to have been fitted in a willy nilly fashion on the various bases

1965-67 Model 530 or 1967-68 Model 540, I'd say.

The pressed-in 'Victa' in the deck is the diagnostic feature - the earlier Model 509 ['63-64 Model Year], 510 ['64-65], still had the cast crescent Victa deck badge, according to the 'Green Book' pics.

Thanks normk and gadge. I love old mowers and all types of old machinery don't mind if no one else has much interest in them.
Yeah after posting I found some brochures that showed the 503 with old timemy logo that's when I realised it wasn't one.

The tank looks like an afterthought and it does kind of look cobbled together, but that is part of the charm.
