That's an easy one ...

It would be the 'Fire Escape' sticker on the metal cabinet door.
This would be the wrong place to escape to in case of fire.
I'm wrong aren't I Paul? grin

Other possible answers:
- we don't know because it doesn't fit in there (be definition).
- the missus ... it's a man cave.
- plenty of space for that 'just one more' mower
I'm still wrong aren't I Paul? mad

Yes you are wrong Jack :-) and yes you are right Mal :-) The other day the neighbors dog was barking for a little while so my wife and I went over for a look. Couldn't see why and as we were leaving my wife spotted the mower in his dump trailer, had a look and thought may be it could be salvaged.

I saw him this afternoon as he was mowing his yard with his new Chinese mower and he said it had no spark and he was sick of it. Pushed it home and pulled the plug, when I checked for spark it had plenty but out spurted raw fuel ! A few more pulls and it cleared itself and then started fine :-). I did tell him that if I got it running I would tidy it up and Gumtree it and he was fine with that.

I must have hosed out ten years worth of leaves and dirt, I have a set of front wheels spare so after a detail it will look great.

Darn Paul

I knew I should have had a blank post to be right.
Good luck with the fire escape then.

Well this story gets better, sitting on the couch this afternoon and I hear a mower being pushed up the driveway ?? My neighbor who gave me his old mower had another mower, this belonged to another neighbor who had lent it to him and it had stopped while he was using it.

Thinking it was terminal he asked if I wanted it, I said yes please and wheeled it away. Now the two neighbours share the new Chinese mower.

I did ask what had happened and he told me that it made a big horrible noise threw out a lot of gunk from underneath and then stopped. I checked underneath and all looked OK, pulled the plug and it was the original and caked with carbon. The oil was black and the air filter was a piece of old pillow foam cut to size.

Cleaned the plug and it had spark, threw away the pillow filter and tried the starter. Nothing for a bit and then setting the throttle half way it started up ! Ran it till it was hot and then changed the oil. Started it again and then it made the horrible noise, loose blade plate. Tightened up the blade plate bolt and it started easily and ran very smoothly :-)

After having a look on the net am I right in thinking it is a Tecumseh TVS120 motor ? Not sure of what the Victa name would have been, Lawnkeeper may be ? I have asked them both if they want there mowers back and both said no :-). I actually thought this engine was missing it's shroud but now I see that's how they are, UGLY !
