After a 14 inch catcher for my SB45. I'm in Albury so willing to pay freight.
Cheers Andrew

Hi drew2229,
They are available to purchase new but aren't cheap, around $180.
If you are looking for a good second hand one then I suggest you keep an eye out on Gumtree for a second hand electric 14 model 45 mower. These complete electrics sadly are worth next to nothing and if it has a good catcher it's worth buying the whole machine purely for the catcher alone, as I did. Most electrics go for between $50 and $100, no more. So that makes a pretty good buying price for a catcher and also some extra spare parts that cross over for your petrol driven 45.
Cheers, BB

Hi BB,
Thanks for that. I took your advice and bought a SB electric for $50. Amazing thing is it works and the reel and bed knife are incredibly sharp.
Has anyone ever converted an electric to a gas powered machine? Looks like would need to weld in the clutch ang agreement bracket.

Hi drew,
That's the exact reason as to why they are discarded, electric mowers aren't trendy anymore unless it's some piece of Ozito rubbish and then that's not really trendy is it ?
I picked up an as new electric 14 inch model 45 simply for the catcher, and then the rest was pulled apart for the bits that cross over to a petrol unit and the rest went to scrap. It's just not worth attempting to convert a electric to petrol when there are so many petrol powered units out there to be had. Maybe in 100 years when we aren't here anymore, then the model 45 might end up being as hard to obtain as an FJ Holden, but until then, in the scrap all the electrics go one by one.
Cheers, BB
