My Victa 18 has a shot bigend , can I make up a phosphor bronze plain bearing and put it in , I will put in new mains and seals
The bottom ring has about 20mm length missing but Im not too worried about that

The big end bearings are roller type (either caged or loose)and you will need to split the crankshaft as well replace the crank pin.

You will need a dial gauge etc to set up the crankshaft after you reassemble it.
