It has the V30 engine pack you can see the difference in the transfer ports for more power....
Also every Utility I've worked on has had the wrong blades fitted ,correct blades in the pics....

G'day Chris,
No steps in between.

Neglected on minute and then by magic transformed.

How dirty do those carb's get.
I did not know about the difference in the transfer ports, I now know something else about Victa 2 strokes.

I am a big fan of those utilities, If I was to complain, where I am, they don't lift up high enough and the grass does collect in the sharp corners under the base.
If you scrape it away after use, they wont rust out from underneath as I have seen.

Another beautiful restore, love the paint.

Hello chris125 and mark electric

I have to totally agree with Mark - an amazing transformation.
It really does show what is possible when one utilizes all the
'tricks' of restoration and a gifted restorer.

Forgive me, but I am ignorant about this:-
"It has the V30 engine pack you can see the difference in the transfer ports for more power...."
Any explanation - for the record - would be helpful.

Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks everyone.. I like utilities hard to get around here in good nick I did this one up for myself.
Mark you must have some thick grass mowing on max height!
Jack Victa power torque engines from what I've seen depending on the model have differences in the porting as in bigger transfer ports and opened up exhaust port all aimed at more power. Not all power torque engines are equal a very underappreciated engine in my opinion not much goes wrong with them and I like the power a well sorted one produces...

As Jack would say all very ''torquey'' smile...

Hey Chris,
Yeah, I have a bush block and my ride on & mowers are all locked in at maximum height.
I would recommend this mower to anyone, I have one my self, which I love, but just cant really use it around here.
I have a lot of uneven ground, sticks and rocks, so normally use a big bob 21 inch, I have one with a Honda GCV160 & a Suzuki 2 stroke on the other. Nice big wheels, clears everything OK.

Cant put big wheels on the Victa due to the base design. I think the newer Master cut has larger wheels?

I have put a fuel tank up on the bars on mine to always have fuel supply to the carb, on slopes the engine can starve of fuel and starts to rev high when mowing carb uppermost.
Also I have the newer Victa vacuum cutter disc with 4 blades on it, its an animal.

Chris,

Fantastic restoration. I like that you did the full restoration including the crank bearing's plus rings, that way you wont need to pull it apart for at least another 5-10 years, probably more.

I rarely find ute's around my local junkyard because they are so popular even in Canberra. When I do I am quick to snap them up!

Anyhow enough from me. Keep up the nice work
