this is what i find interesting

air filter reads
REG DESIGN APPLIC
VICTA
REG No 49560
never seen one before
so am i correct in assuming this is a m5 s2 or wrong as usual

Hi Sean,

Nice pick up, the air filter is not a standard fitting for that model. It's a later filter and doesn't work well on the Specials as there is no choke for a cold start situation.

Model 5 series 1, it has the flap extensions on the axle retainers, engine number seems right for the mower, as paul c said the air cleaner is a later replacement one.

thanks for the input fellas. this motor is completely seized up so it may take a bit of work. is there anything special with this model??
