Hi bruce, I have a weedeater, brushcutter that wont idle indefinitely, when it is warm with no choke it runs great, but when it is left to idle with no throttle it slows gradually and then just stalls. Any ideas? thx jesse
I need you to have a look at the carby and see if it has Mexico stamped on it. If so you will need to remove the fuel screen on the pump side(the side with just one screw). This will help fix your problem.

Ok you will need to take the muffler off and check the exhaust port for carbon build up. If it has any blockage clean it out(make sure that the piston is covering the hole so no carbon falls into the cylinder).
Once you have done these things let me know if you still have a problem and we will go to the next stage.

Bruce
