Hello,
Choke plate was found free in the carburettor.
I am trying to get it back into place.
Model: 286707 Type: 015802 Code: 9502244D

2nd image shows the shaft (should I remove the shaft?)

3rd image shows the slot the plate slides into, then a screw.

I have removed the end plate, but this will only help me replace the screw.

Anyone had to do this before?
Thanks from Mark.

If it managed to fall out I would assume that there is some combination of throttle linkage position that would allow it to go back in. Once in place a bit of Loctite on the screws should keep it there.

Yes Trev you are right.

I couldnt see an advantage taking the shaft out, the split pin was pretty hard to move aswell.

The smaller venturi stops it from the filter side.

The 3 dimples on the plate are meant to be orientated up.

The only way I could get it into the slot, was to grind the dimples on the plate down.
Working with the angle I had.

Found a screw with a tight fit and used blue loctite.

It is back together.
