Im new here to the forum. I've recently just purchased a 20in scott bonnar twin deck mower. It looked great but had problems so i asked for my money back which i got. I was lucky enough to pick up a 20inch single deck scott bonnar with a 12 blade reel thats newish and new bed blade. And has a aftermarket engine (unsure brand etc) Its hasn't been refurbed like the last one i bought. But it works just fine. I haven't got it yet as the blades are being sharpened. My main question is. How hard is it to pull it apart and give it a bit of a clean up. The engine and all that run fine but Its currently yellow. But i would like to restore it back to its original glory. Ive always wanted to pull something apart and i have a big bloody shed going to waste out the back. Im considering giving it a pull down in winter as my couch grass dies and i won't use it much.
I know i can get a lot of help from you guys im only young and have some tools but i really want to give it a go. So how hard is it? Can someone who has never done it before capable of doing it?
