This is a comprehensive User 'Mower Manual' for the following models:

- The 4-stroke AMBASSADOR
- The 2-stroke VICEROY
- The 4-stroke ENVOY
- The 2-stroke CADET

Hello ODK History Lovers

Victa introduced four new models for the 1962-63 lawnmowing season.
The Ambassador (4-stroke) and the Viceroy (2-stroke) would be Victa's first
rear-catcher machines
. Interestingly, they had a pressed steel base. The new
side catcher machines, the Envoy (4-stroke) and Cadet (2-stroke) would have
skirted, alloy bases.

These were feature-packed machines - new bases; chrome 2-point folding handles;
new blade holder (with 4 blades); impulse starters - and superb marketing, with
full-page advertisements in the major papers.

This one, from the Sydney Morning Herald, from mid-September, 1962, states
that deliveries would commence in early October. These were the exciting new
'63 Victas!

PART TWO - The Manual

Lawnmower manuals, in the day, were of a high quality. This one, from my
collection, is in excellent original condition. I have also recorded the
packing envelope.

The manual is 23 pages and has comprehensive information on each model.
This is a quality scan taken from my original booklet. It may be downloaded
as a pdf file below.
