Hy Mall, I only have a few picks taken by phone at night last week. It looks like someone built a power unit out of an old mower, it has reduction pulleys and cooling fan at the back of frame, engine is mounted on a old block of wood it has a brass ring on the outer of flywheel. engine number is 158X 2035

The other engine (not pictured) very much like motor fitted to Qualcast mower engine. engine number is 863A 22085
Regards
Ron

Thanks Mate,

Thats pretty cool!

The Engine is off an Australian Rotary mower Made by TECNICO". Its a VILLIERS 98cc Mk 2 Midget. Its a shame the mower is long gone,as its a very rare one, but A very intriguing little powerplant....one can only wonder what its use was.

Cheers for the Images.

Here is a link to a free download of the Villiers Mk2 & Mk3 Midget Operating Instructions and Parts Lists

Hope it helps to get the fan cooled engine running as I would really like to see a video of that one.

Hi RJK1962, and a warm welcome to ODK from me.
That is quite an unusual use for a Victa Tilt-A-Cut edger blade for the fan... good1

Thank you Paul_C cheers2

Deejay so I take it the fan was an improvision?
The whole set up looked like was knocked up in someones back yard.

Unfortunatly the wooden block has to go, Termites!!!
when I stripped the engine it had wasps living in the muffler and ports, the little buggers didnt wipe there feet
and filled it full of mud and sand.
Will post pic's later.
Regards to all
Ron
