Hi guys, First post tonight, I've been following this site for almost a year. It's been very helpful and informative to date - thanks heaps. I'm just wanting to ask some advice if I can on the SB 30's. I've recently been offered one and I'm trying to research them a little more. I already have a SB 45 20" which would be well complimented by a SB 30. I don't know many details on this unit apart from it pretty much runs and starts like it's 1 day old. Is there anything that I should look out for in viewing/testing it before purchase? Also are spare parts / blades readily available? Keen to hear people's thoughts. Thanks, Oakie.

aaaaaaaaah , then yes im fairly sure most parts are still available have a look through the online store here . look in site links on the left here . a good little machine really only problem i ever had with mine is the height lever sometimes comes loose and drops , but maybe its just my lazieness . i think some have been converted to a disc which i have been told is a better deal , mines still the bar and blades .
Thanks for that help Dave. These are great little edgers for quality work. You can still get blades (solid & wire) and their fittings. Engines parts should be no problem. Many chassis parts will not be available.
