Victas.....And Buffalo.

Flymo....Southern Cross.....and of course Rolux Magnum!

They use yamaha MT110 motors on mowers, I know that much.

Yeah, Rolux Magnums are the local product in Africa.
I had someone bring one around for a repair a couple of years ago and took some photos of it because i had never seen one before. He brought it with him when he moved here from South Africa.

South Africa must have tariff barriers, unlike Oz, as they seem to still have a number of local mower manufacturers.

Protea's reel mowers I knew of; and a bit of searching brought up Lawnstar , Professional , Tandem , Turfmaster [who seem to build their commercial mower range locally] and also an Alpha Lawnmower Manufacturers in Paarl [no webpage], as well as the makes mentioned in above posts!

And yes, the Japanese mower brands available there include Honda and Yamaha.
