I have just bought a Tanaka TBC 4200(second hand)
needs work on the stop switch, it doesnt work and needs choke to make it stop.
first I'm hoping you can help with some manuals and or parts book. I,m told Tanaka is a good brand to buy.
can i have your thoughts on this one

You have bought one of the best brushcutters on the market (Tanaka). I had the old 422b models which were on a projet for about 6 years 1800ha they did a lot of work and I still have one that I kept(still runs great).

The stop switch is it broken?

Do you have a meter to check to see if one of the wires are broken?

You usually have two lugs on the switch that the wire goes on and sometimes the wire comes off the lug. Check that first.

I will put up a parts manual in the parts area for you very soon so you can have a look.
