Never come across this edger before so thought it may be a good addition to the forum.

I think There are enough clues to find its correct origins for those interested or for the Historical archives

It says dist by Wembly GA, But who made it? J.A.P or an unknown Eng company....And when was it made? Late 50s or early 60s by its design.
See what you think:)

I was really keen to get hold of this until I Saw it was in WA....But I still might! I love it archaic simplistic design and style.

What are the odds? Found another one, Also in WA and currently for sale.

I guess the possibility they were made by an unknown engineering co and sold/distributed in WA by Wembly is a fair assumption at this point,as I thought JAP were only engine manufacturers,supplying to various mower and machinery companies just like Villiers did?

That's what I'm thinking too ...
a small engineering works made these in WA in the 1960s.
