Here is a full-line Pope brochure from about 1970. I say no later,
because the two strokes do not yet have the decompressor 'Ezistart' engines. That
last specification would come in 1972.

Pope lawnmowers, in general, are greatly undervalued by collectors. That's a
shame, given the long history of two great SA companies: Simpson and Pope.

These were full-featured 'pretty' machines. Note the bold colours: 'Mustard',
'Apple Green', and 'Persimmon'. These would have looked stunning on the showroom
floor. 1970's fashion would have looked less stunning. This brochure is available
