Hi Outdoorking folk,
I am finally letting my trusty VC160 Mk2 go.In use up until a month ago.Motor was running great when last used , not smokey,but wifey has shouted me a new mower. Catcher is great and only about ten years old. Spare G3 carby.Needs a throttle cable. Please save it from the kerbside cleanup.
In Eastwood in the Northern suburbs of Sydney.

Hide it away in the back of the shed, that new mower will probably fall apart in a couple of months.

Argh you comics. Earplugs would be better for me to stop me hearing the wife and I know that there is a very ,very slim chance of ANY new mower lasting the 42 years the VC160 has.Mind you the chance of me lasting another 42 years must be slim too . It was my dads and I have mown with it since I was 12 years old. Rebuilt it when I was 15 and I must have done a good job because that was over 30 years ago now.I would keep it but I am running out of space. Blumbly I would love you to have it but shipping something so big would be nastily expensive.

Yes I guess your right.Put some pictures up if you can.Maybe it's in too good of a condition for me to say no to.After all from Sydney to Brisbane would properly be around the $60 mark.

If it is self propelled can you start it and point it a bulli. Will catch it at the bottom of bulli pass.

No it isn't self propelled but I do wonder what the range of a self propelled mower would be on one tank of fuel. With the slowness of Sydney traffic these days it should be fast enough to keep up.
HT6 that would be fine if your mate could get it, just PM if anything develops.
