Hello all,
Im a new member to this forum and am still learning to drive it. I have a planetary gear missing a tooth from a Victa 8/30 differential. A mate gave the whole mower to me as he has going to throw it out. Slowly i've been playing around with it and bringing it back to life. I dont know how fanatical some of you are but I hope I havent offended anyone by putting a 8.5 horse Honda in it? Can anyone help with this planetary gear, our complete diff assembly.

I have uploaded a parts list for the Victa 8/30 ride on mower. Can you tell me what is on the differential so I can upload the parts list for it as well, it should be a peerless type.

Thanks for your quick reply. I,ll check the diff for markings tommorrow. I seem to have a problem getting access to the manuals. I read some entrys in the shout box from Joe Brown. From this I did find the parts lists and manuals but was denied access. How do I view the parts list? You seemed to have found bits for a lot of people. Do you have a shed full of mowers parts or what?

I just know a lot of people that have parts and also suppliers. As to the parts list and manuals area it is available to people that make a donation to the board. The reason for this is it cost a lot to have the information stored on the server.

We are adding more information as people request it.

I did a diff up some time ago for a customer and we had to get parts in from the US to complete it and from the parts list that I have uploaded for the Victa 8/30E it looks the same.
