Hi All, I saw this Rover on ebay today and thought that I would record the pictures for posterity. It was gone as quickly as it was listed. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/01/full-5001-19921-rover1.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/01/full-5001-19922-rover6.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/01/full-5001-19923-rover5.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/01/full-5001-19924-rover2.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/01/full-5001-19925-rover4.jpg) Cheers, Sir Chook

Hello Sir Chook, Mr Mckay and ODK members & Guests
A big thank you to Sir Chook for the photo record. From memory, I think this was a Rover Rapid.
All very historical. ------------------------------ JACK.

Sir Chook, It might seem strange but when I look at my mowers that is what I see.

Hi All,
This mower was advertised with a starting price of $250 so I would suspect that it went for at least this if not more. The mower was owned by the seller's step father who was apparently a compulsive shopper and usually purchased multiples. Back in 1974 he purchased 2 of these mowers/catchers and the seller's mother is still using the other one today. This mower and its catcher were in separate boxes which had disintegrated. The mower was sold with everything that was in the box including the original paperwork and bottle of Rover oil and the mower had never had a drop of petrol in the tank.
Cheers,
Sir Chook

Yep, that was the FleaBay starting bid, but it hadn't attracted a bid when it was 'withdrawn from auction as NLA'. We might as well have the [pristine] underside pic here too! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/01/full-5630-19948-rover1.jpg)
Cheers, Gadge
