Was given a lawnmower by the in-laws, can any one tell me what model/year is this mower? It doesn't start, but I'll check the spark plugs and give it some fresh fuel to see if it goes.

The engine is a Briggs and Stratton 4 stroke model 92908 type 5175

You can an idea of the year if you have a look at the motor as on the engine cover it will be stamped model type & code either above the spark plug or above the muffler.

What you need is the code and the first two numbers are the year that the motor was made.
