Hi all,
I am new to this forum.
Reason for using this forum is that I need help finding a Operator's manual and part list for a Victa Ride on Mower.
The Mower called: Victa Corvette 3212 Hydrostatistic
Model No.: 68991
Serial No. UR 6801-363.
I think the ride on mower was build by Cox.
Also, if any of your friendy peoples know what kind of Transmission Belts & Cutting Deck Belts fits this model and where to purchas them, that would be extremly helpful.

Hi Hilfe, welcome to Outdoorking.

From the little information on this model I can find, it does indeed seem to be a Cox with Victa badges. I suggest you do two things:
1. Contact Cox - the easiest way would be to use their "Contact Us" form on-line:

2. Ask them for the Cox model number for your mower, and if possible for the owner manual and Illustrated Parts List for their version.

3. Tell us what you find out, so the next person who needs to know will be able to find the answers in our archive.

I think this will solve just about all your problems with service information, and with sourcing replacement parts.

But in the mean time if there is a Victa Corvette Ride on Mower (serial # 68991)owner who recently purchased a Transmission Belt & a Cutting Deck Belt for this mower? Could you kindly tell me the belt numbers & where to purchase them. Thanks again.

I got the required Information from Cox Mowers.
An extremely friendly lady (Lea-Ann) sends me an email as followed:

The 6899I Victa Corvette was made for Victa by us in 1999. Although very similar to our model 6999I it is not the same I have attached a parts listing for the machine unfortunately we do not have a copy of Victa�s Owners Manual.Regards Lea-ann.

With that information I went and ordered the belts:

BELA108 BELA108: VEE BELT A108 - COX / KINGCAT V26

BEL6860 V-BELT PREMIUM QUALITY A SECTION (68 SERIES) 60 INCH O.D. KEVLAR

Hope this info helps the next person finding parts for a ride on Victa Corvette 3212 Hydrostatistic, Model 68991

Thank you for that report, Peter. To make this thread even more useful to others in future, would you mind attaching the parts list Cox sent you? To do that, just select "Switch to Full Reply Screen" in the row of boxes at the bottom of the posting window, then select "File Manager" below the full reply window. Then select "Browse", and navigate to where you have saved the Cox parts list on your own hard drive. Select "Open", then "Add File", to add the file to your post. Then select "Done Adding Files", complete your post, and submit it.

Hi Peter, just a heads up, after following grumpy's instructions for the upload; after clicking "Done Adding Files", you will not see the file in your post until after it has been submitted.

Can't find "Switch to Full Reply Screen"

Look where the red oval is in this picture:

I emailed the Victa Corvette part list to support@outdoorking.com.au.
I was not able to ad a pdf file as attachment.
I hope Grumpy,Bruce or Deejay got hold of the part list and can published the list as required.
Question an all: Now I need to know where, what kind & how much transmission oil goes in the tranmission of the Victa Corvette.

Hi Hilfe, I've asked Deejay to track down your post to Support - I can't find it, but he's a whizz at that stuff and has more access than I do. Meanwhile though, can you just post it here please? Just select "Switch to full reply screen" at the bottom of the posting box, then select File Manager. With file manager you can attach a PDF file to a post, using the same process as adding a picture file from the Quick Reply screen you normally see.

Thanks for supplying that Victa/Cox parts list, Hilfe. Bruce has uploaded it to the ride-on manuals section, under Victa. Hopefully in future when people need it, they will be able to get access.
