Had a blue spark when I removed one wire from carby,petrol is getting to plug,still wont start,how do you stop the two wires from touching each other when they are pushed into the spigot on the side of the carby.

Check that you have the rubber insert in the center hole first. Leave one wire out to see if it will start.

1. How old is the fuel?

2. Have you checked the fuel for water?
