I believe its a series 80 mark IV mustang, but don't hold me to that. one of our other experts may jump in here and correct me if i'm wrong. Looks like a good clean original machine, with the exception of the catcher, it's to suit a later model with the single folding handles.
Thanks for that, I have the original green catcher but it never fills properly. The newer one does have a bigger capacity, fills evenly and the magic eye tells you just before it starts to drop grass onto the ground.
It has been fed Castrol GTX and RON 95 for decades and is smooth as silk. All sliding surfaces (and wheels) get a 6 monthly spray of CRC White Lithium grease and the chrome gets a brisk rub with mild steel wool and layer of Phosphoric acid to eat up the surface rust...
