I want to service my Kawasaki Brushcutter & apparently need lithium grease for the gearbox at the cutting head end.Can I use clay-based bearing grease or something similiar?

You can get the correct grease(High Temp) from your local mower shop. It should only cost about $8 to $10. The correct grease is needed as the gear head is spinning at 6000 to 8000 RPM.
