Viking MT 640 ride on mower tractor


The electric clutch keeps disengaging, it appears to be an electrical fault with the clutch possibly voltage related, I have found a connection with a burnt out resistor across the connections but the resistor is unrecognisable, I would like wiring diagram to follow and check

Hi Tinka28, welcome to Outdoorking. Our manuals section does not have any information on Stihl/Viking ride-on mowers.

I agree that a wiring diagram is by far the easiest way to sort out your problem. Have you tried a Stihl/Viking dealer? Perhaps you could persuade one to copy the diagram from the service manual for a small fee.

As we don't have a lot of info on the Viking MT640, would you be so kind as to take some pics of your machine and post them here.
This would be good for our archives and also allow us time to see if we can get our hands on the manuals for this model.
