I have changed the fuel lines on my Ryobi Lawn Hornet but it will not start and now I don't know if I have connected them correctly.
Does anybody have a diagram of where they should go.

thanks

Bruce

I have searched in Questions on Brushcutters and then Ryobi brushcutters but can find nothing that looks like parts lists and manuals or carby workshop manuals.

Thanks Bruce,..........but the carby on mine is a Wabro and does not look like any of these.
I believe the fuel lines are installed correctly.

1.tank to bottom of carby
2.top of carby to primer bulb.
3.primer bulb to tank.

Still cannot pump fuel with the primer bulb.

Any body got any clues please.

Thanks Bruce, I have done the tests on the fuel lines and they are in the right places and appear to work ok.
It looks likes the problems are in the carby.(blockages) So now I will have to dismantle it.
Is it possible to buy repair kits for these carbys or do I just purchase the bits and pieces separatly.

Thanks

All is well,
I removed the 2 side plates from the carby, placed it in a jar of metho, gave it a shake around, and let it soak for 30mins.

Put it all back together, mounted it back on the Ryobi and away it went.

Good as new.

Thanks again.

Hi we have just joined this site and need assistance in replacing the cord on a RyobiLawn Hornet Brushcutter. It has a clutch that needs to come off before we can get the casing off. Do you know how to do this? Or where can I find the info?

Thanks

Milkman,

What you need is a T20 Tex screwdriver as you will find a screw in the centre of the clutch drum (it is normal thread).

You will be able to get one(screw driver) from your local Hardware shop.

We have a parts list in the manuals area under help with brushcutters. cheers2
