Hi All,

One of my Scott Bonnar Supercut mowers is fitted with a tool box. When I acquired the mower I found what appears to be the original plug spanner (photo attached). Can anyone confirm that it is indeed original and advise what other tools would have been provided when the mower was new. The mower is an early machine and was built pre 1958.

Cheers,
Sir Chook

Hi Sir_Chook,
I have scoured the Model 17 Supercut parts list and found reference to the toolbox and associated mounting hardware, but no reference to the tools themselves. frown

Hi Deejay,

Just wondering if you could please flick me the parts listing on the Supercut for my eventual rebuild as I don't have a second machine to reference to.

Cheers,
BB.

I had a 18" Model 17 SCE, I was wondering if that plug spanner also fits the reel/bedknife cutter adjuster? I always found that machine particularly difficult to adjust the reel to bedknife correctly.

Just a thought.

Hi Darryl and Simon,

Darryl - thanks for having a look to see if the tool features on the parts list. I am surprised that the tools are not listed.

Simon - I have had a look and the tool does not fit the bed knife/reel bolts. I did find that the small end of the spanner fits the screw on the engine drive sprocket and the screws that secure the carburettor bowl to the main carburettor body.

Cheers,

Sir Chook
