G'day guy's...Working on an old 160cc Full Crank.. Im going to do a few little mods to it and see if I can get a nice hard working Full Crank out of it in the end..So far Ive shaved the head a little..And Yeah 1st full crank Ive worked on with an alloy conrod not that Ive worked on that many it looks like a powertorque conrod to me? must have came from victa like that maybe?..Anyways is just a bit of fun and will see how it all goes, its nice to be back working on an old 2T Aussie smoker!... few pics Cheers Chris. Looking good! I'm interested to see how much of a power increase from the head modification.

G'day Kori, On its own not much but clean the ports up and such and it sure does...The deference really shows up when I go from using a stock (boring) Victa to one Ive done mods to.. Definately have way more torque and hold revs up in the tough going but as far as max rev's go they are the same I keep the governor as is....But then I work some of my mowers hard and can smoke a set of blades in say 2 tanks of fuel lol.....[Linked Image]

A tip for what can be a very fiderly job at times on full crank victas..The fiderly part is getting the rings in the bore when there is not much room to see or work if done when the piston is already on the conrod....To do it the same way as in the pics piston in bore first makes for a very simple job...Pics speak for them self Cheers Chris smile......[Linked Image]

G'day Chris, pleased to see your piston and bore are in good shape.
I have one of these that I just cleaned up and serviced.
It doesn't look much, but I just cant part with it.
I like the fact they have a decompressor, side type starter, electronic ignition and plastic carby.
My favourite Victa engine.
Love your tip for assembling the piston, in the past I have done it the hard way.

Thanks guy's....I agree with you on that one Mark there a a nice little engine,With this one I will have four (going)160 full crank mowers....
It's basically done just need to get a muffler gasket and a new spark plug boot..I also have to find something to bolt it onto as the base was buggered, can't wait to fire it up and see how it runs I put in new ACL rings and new seals as well...Cheers Chris [Linked Image]

G'day guy's...Well the 160cc full crank is now the power source for a utility shocked...And yup it looks a little different but I like the new look it's kind of a little alien looking to me lol...As long as it mows the lawn and weeds in the end is all that matters as it will be working hard for its keep this one!, mowing one meter high whiskey grass along with tough as love grass of the same height bring on the weeds! lol...Cheers Chris aussie [Linked Image]
