Hi to all ODK members and Guests,

I would like to share some pics of my latest reel mower, which is a Qualcast HB5 in original (as found) condition that was owned by the late father of a good friend of mine.

The paint is still vibrant and I can't wait to get it cleaned up to see what it is really like under the grime....
The decision now facing me is the usual dilemma; to restore or conserve the machine with its original patina.

I would also like to see if an Owners Manual is available for the HB 6 and obtain a copy. wink

What a beautiful example Darryl, it looks to be in excellent condition for its age. I tend to agree that it's great as is, perhaps if it were in much rougher shape I would lean towards a restoration. Either way it's a great piece. Love the pics, cheers grin
