Even though I haven't been to well lately I have still made myself keep an eye on the kerbside clean ups near home.Haven't found to much to tell to date, however I did manage to find this 1965-66 Pace Special 2 model 8T victacode V47.

As you can see it really isn't in the greatest of conditions.I do hope I have some wheels to put on it.I know I won't have the correct hub caps.

IT does turn over and the starter works,I haven't checked for a spark but even if it doesn't I'm sure I would be able to fix it.

As you can see from the engine number it is dated as a 1965 model.

Unfortunately you don't see that stamp much anymore.Which is really really sad.

The only problem with the mower is all the plastic for the handles has all just rotted away and or missing. Now that is just something I don't have any of.
My only problem is what do I do with it?I'm not a collector of Pace,I know they where made by Victa but one can't collect everything.I just couldn't bear to see it either go to scrap or even worse land fill.
I just don't know what to do with it.I will most likely have fun getting it running and put some wheels on,but what then? I'm not going to part it out and or wreck it.
Does anybody have any interest in this particular mower? I'd like to see someone do something with it.I just think with me,I'd get it running then it would just sit in the corner and do nothing with it after that.
Let me know what you all think.

Was thinking the same thing...didnt realise that icon was used this early. Ive only owned 2 pace mowers a 50s which I still own and a mid 60s very similar to this except she was running a torque major....your right though blumbly, be a shame to wreck her out, im sure a pace collector would love it!

OK have made a decision on this mower.
Is anybody interested in it?
If not I'm just going to pull the engine off and I'll just scrap the base. The engine I can use,but I just have to many mowers to keep it.
If anybody is interested please let me know.
Thanks.

OK any takers for this mower?
If not I will pull the engine off.I can at least use it,but don't want the mower as a whole.
I don't collect Pace mowers.
