I wished I had of seen it I would have attempted to get it.

Yes, it's funny how old posts can be revived as new information is discovered.
These Lawn King rotary machines are not common.

This is the SB 720 Store Brand machine - The Lawn King.
When I say 'Store Brand', I mean cosmetically changed 720s offered to a few large
chain retailers. Change the colour and the model name, and SB could sell to bulk
purchasers at a cheaper wholesale price, but still keep the small 'bread and butter'
agencies happy - who could sell SB 720 branded machines at a higher retail price.

The engine was a Kirby K11.3 2-stroke.

All very interesting.

Scott Bonnar obviously made more than one style of Lawn King Rotary.

and another one , this time more traditional colours , seems to be a kirby 2 stroke but dodnt look close yet





( same engine on a turner here too ) spins ok but never tried to get it up n running
720 deluxe is on the handle plate

Yes, a nice, traditional Model 720.
1970s, with a Kirby-Tecumseh 2-stroke. Quite a good engine.
I'm not sure what made it 'Deluxe' - probably the decal saying ...'Deluxe'.
