I own a Ryobi 725r trimmer 7+ years. Normally to start you use two pulls on full choke, start and run on 1/2 choke with full throttle for about one minute, then no choke and it would trim and edge all I want (I have several attachments).
Last season it would only run on 1/2 choke position (or a little between 1/2 and no detent position). Now it will only run between the full and 1/2 position, and not enough power to really do any good. When I go to 1/2 choke it speeds up and dies. Won't run at all on no choke. I have cleaned spark plug, and looked at the zama carb ( I have not fiddled with any of the adjustments just looked inside from breather end and took off the side plate) and it looks clean.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
