Looking for another coil, condenser and points for my Victa 18 Roto mower.
Mine has Steel wheels with rubber tyres.

I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how to.

Thanks

Hi MoodyBlue, and a warm welcome to the forum. It's great to have you onboard. grin
We have a lot of members here that are interested in the early Victas especially the Rotomo's. Can you please post your engine number or include a shot of it in your pics. This will help in dating your machine and be good for the forum archives.
Instructions for uploading pic using the inline uploader can be found HERE

Once again Jeff, :welcome: to Outdoorking

Surely there must be someone that has one for sale, or knows where I can get one of these coils from.

Hi MoodyBlue I can tell you from the engine number it is a model 2 rotomo. Whether it has all its original parts on it is a different question. Now it's not about anybody knowing anybody that has the parts you need it's whether they will sell them. I mean these are getting hard to find parts and their are guys on here that do have. Like myself but I'm not up to selling any as once they are gone it becomes hard to get them again. So just have to have patients you will find one at some point.

Sorry their voljon I thought you were after the Victa numbers.Their really isn't a lot of numbers that could be much use to.The number on the ignition plate to me looks more like a cast number,I think a patent number, maybe.Which is P2123. Their is a Spec No Fw (Whatever that means) 1391.Then a serial number (Which would be different per item) this one is 414159.Flywheel not much that I can read on this one.The cast number of which would be a patent number (I think) is P2124,but in saying that their is a Pat no (which also could be a patent number)(I really don't know). The Pat No is 491.110.Their is some other number but I can't read on this flywheel I didn't get time to check any others.Their is no numbers on the coil set up or points and condenser.
I'm not sure that this will be of any help.

Apologies Blumbly,
You've added a lot of detail and it is much appreciated. Looks like fabrication time to keep this one going (not used, but running so it can be started occasionaly)
Regards
Jeff (Moody Blue)
