Sir
On my MC Culloch Proscaper 2 i`m replacing the fuel lines. The one that draws the fuel up from the tank is easy as it pulls out. The other won`t pull out as it seems to have something attached to the bottom of it in the petrol tank Any clues how to replace it please. :)

I'm not clear on what you are saying, terrace. The suction line (the one that supplies fuel to the carburetor) always has a weighted end-fitting inside the tank, with a built-in fuel filter, so it will lie at the bottom of the tank and draw out the very last of the fuel. Most times you can pull out the grommet where that line goes through the top of the tank, and the hole is big enough to draw out the hose and its weight/filter. If you can't fit it through the grommet hole, you have to pull it off the hose by using pliers through the fuel filler hole. There will also be a vented fuel tank cap or an air entry line going to the fuel tank, to allow air into the tank to replace the fuel drawn out.

Can you show us a picture or two to clarify the problem please?

I think grumpy has it nailed, It has the fuel filter on the end, before you can remove it, use a peice of stiff wire shaped as a hook to fish the end with the filter out the mouth of the fuel tank, remove the filter, then pull the line through.

I would also pay close attention to the filter, they get pretty mucky.

Cheers
