I would like to know if parts are still available for a electramac EM 250 chain saw-probably about 10 to 12 years old.I currently require a circlip which holds the chain drive sprocket in position on the drive shaft.I have tried to source one from fastener suppliers but they don't have circlips which are thin enough to fit into the groove on the drive shaft.

any info appreciated

bitz,

Have you tried the CBC bearing company as I am sure that you will be able to get one off them.

Here is their link:

CBC Bearings Then click on suppliers.

Hi Bruce Thanks for the info. I have not been to CBC yet as I have been laying pavers and the saw has not had a role in this endeavor.
Incidently I saw a Harvey Norman catalogue last week in which was advertised A Mcculloch/electrolux electric chainsaw and a similarly branded petrol blower vac.
regards bitz
