I have a 1625 Poulan electric chainsaw and the housing around the chain tensioner has cracked. Does anyone know of anyone in Australia that sells these parts? The complete side housing that the motor mounts in is required.

Gazza, Part number that you require is 530 401 943 and would cost about $40-00. You should be able to get it from your local mower shop. Regards, Bruce

Thanks Bruce, the local Professional mowers has ordered it for me ex Gosford, but want $58 + freight which I have already paid $50 of. Hope the freight isn't one of those buy the truck jobs, wouldn't quote a firm cost in advance, just said it would be the standard rate. regards Gazza

Gazza,
How did you go with your part for the saw? They should have only charged you about $8 to $10 freight. :Wavey:

Hi Gazza, i too am looking for a part for a poulan 1625 electric chainsaw. This is the first time i have been in this site.. and i am not sure how to post a question. what i am after is the drive wheel, it is round with teeth.. i have broken 3-4 teeth in a row. Hubby is trying to fix it but i thought i'd check how much they are because i feel it will keep breaking. I am after a replacement wheel. Can't seem to find any spare parts sites bar this one. Thankyou for listening.
