Hi All. My name is Bruno and i am new to collecting mowers. In just a short space of time (about 2 months) i have managed to collect over 20 mowers such as Rovers, Victa 18's (3 specials and one auto), 2 scott bonnar 35's (one magister and one non-magister), Villiers Villager, other Victa's etc..i found the dump the best place to look and my mate is a scrappie so i get some off him too. I have just got a Ogden 'Rotamatic' Model B going and cut the grass the other day (the only cylinder mower i have) and i was surprised at how well it cut (i am looking for the original tank if someone has one)it has the english made Trojan 49cc engine, great little gutsy engine. I am having so much fun working on them, i found the main problems with most mowers when i got them was dirty plugs or the jets blocked in the carbies, amazing how well they run now with a good clean! Welcome Bruno, sounds like you've been busy, would love to here more about your 18's and Auto, there is a thread under identification of machines/ model 4 that any information about your machine may help add a missing piece of info, so would be good to see some pics of your auto there as well as engine no and the story behind it and how and where you got it, you never know you may learn something about the model and you could be sitting on something special, so welcome and look forward to seeing some of your collection.
