That's right you read it correctly.I really hope I'm not jinxing myself by putting this up on the forum, but I'm just over the moon (By the way the moons not made of cheese)I looked last time I went passed.
I just made the deal this afternoon, not sure if it has a catcher. As he's not sure if he still has it but he is looking fingers crossed on that one.
Here are some happy snaps.

Isn't it just great? or is just because I've been searching and looking so hard to find one?

With any luck he can find the catcher.

Well what a great find Blumbly. Good things come to those who wait, especially those who deserve them and deserve this you do.
I really want to see this mower restored to the same standards as your vc 160's. I'm sure it will come up really good.

Yes it had put a smile back on my face. Loss blue what loss? Oh yeah but that's ok I think vccomm knows of another. Unfortunately he didn't find the catcher. I guess that will never be found. Hard enough to find the mower let a lone a catcher. That's alright I have a back up plan.

Good score Blumbly, by the reaction I gather you have been after one for a while, nothing like the feeling of getting something you have been hunting for, best wishers with your new find.

Thanks jonesy. Yes I have been looking for one for about 2 and half to 3 years. I have seen some but either weren't in great condition way to far away or sold for way more than I thought they were worth. So yes I'm happy now just have to find a catcher.

OK Gold Twin arrived today.A little sad to start with.As once I opened the box I found that the box had been hit on the side and bent the base a bit.

Well just speaking the truth. I was just sooooo happy that I didn't crack the base. I did give it the best chance by heating it first. I was surprised when I looked at the engine although there is some oil and dirt on it,but once I scrapped that off it is very very clean. I can't see a hole in the muffler plate. It really doesn't look like its had a lot of use. Although you can tell its been sitting for many many years.
Yes bigted I was a bit peeved at it,but I couldn't for to long I just had to fix it. Then I was over the moon. Did you know that on the dark side of the moon it's very very very bloody cold?

While I wasn't on here I did manage to find a catcher for my gold twin.
I did put some pictures up the other day put it went into the wrong topic. It should of gone into this one.
It isn't the chocolate brown one,but it is the replacement black catcher. When I restore this mower I will most likely paint it the chocolate brown, and so the pin strips.
