Hi
I have brought a corvette 4 but dont pick it up till tuesday night. Iam wondering are they still easy to come by? This one has original catcher an rear chute.

Also are the engines a briggs an stratton?
Any help would be great :-)

I'm assuming youre talking about one of the old Corvette 4's. i believe they're kirby tecumseh's but i'm no expert on the older stuff. I'm sure one of the pro's will be able to help you out there.
I'm pretty sure i've seen an older post on the older models, i'll try and dig it up and get back to you.

Yes Nathan there doesn't seem to be to many around. I still haven't found one yet myself. It does depend on which model of course. I will wait until you pick it up and post some pictures of it,but if it is model I'm thinking it could then no there not to common.

No I haven't seen many at all.In-fact when it comes to the Corvette 4's they are very thin on the ground (as the saying goes).

Jeffrey this corvette mower also explains the toothed flywheel from your wanted add briggs like side starter!

think they did a key start also.

Yes your right Tomo I believe that these were made for the electric start.There was a flywheel that didn't have the teeth but they didn't go on a lot of models.I guess whenever and whoever ordered them just thought it was easier just to go with the one that did both jobs.

The Old Tecumseh you got in the kerbside pick up also has a flywheel with teeth...for the pull start gear to engage on....

Yea cause on this one pull starter is straight up n dwn. I have it home now so ill try get some more pics up soon. It should fire up
