hello me again with a another enquiry.
i like the look of these villagers but i cannot see any difference between the torqumaster and the typhoon or DLX. does anyone one know what the difference is?

That certainly would be more of a question for somebody like alwil.I certainly don't know I never had one one.

i discovered something interesting.i have looked at a lot of pics of these and noticed that quite a few dont seem to have a throttle cable. i just thought it was missing till i read this brochure.just wondering how this auto throttle centrifical governor works?
also notice the advert says typhoon but pictured it has torquemaster on it. the engine is called a torquemaster, so maybe there isnt any difference after all?

That red mower you are referring to is the same mower , Typhoon/ Torquemaster.

I put the Torquemaster decal on it until someone confirmed that it was a Typhoon, then the decal was changed.

As I have previously stated, I do not know the technicalities of the mowers, maybe many years ago I might have been keen to know the technicals , but now I just like to get them working and then make them look pretty.

Three in my collection are pictured below, I had another to restore but recently gave it to another collector.

Far out. they look just brilliant. you sure do nice work. i most definately like the look of the villager mowers.well done.

after posting this originally about a year ago now. ive managed to get myself 3 villagers. they are a very hard thing to come across.mine are as yet not restored and a bit sad looking. i am pretty sure i have a torquemaster. a standard and a vampire.these are my most favourite mowers, hoping one day to get them up to your quality craftsmanship Alwil
