Hi All, I have a broken high pressure washer with a good engine (cheap 4T 168f from China) that I'd like to use for a project. I can't figure out how the pump group is connected to the engine shaft. I tried to unscrew the bolts and pull it out but it won't come out. Not sure if there is any trick or special tool. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

Maxgara, A picture of the machine and the area that you are talking about will help a lot because the Chinese copy a lot of different brands.

Hi Bruce, I found what was wrong with the pump. The Chinese made steel used for the shaft boss was so soft that the key jammed in the keyway. The keyway ended up beeing nearly twice as wide as the key! I had to cut away the pump body and finally I managed to set free the shaft with a good hammer. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2013/05/full-4771-10845-img_2622.jpg)
