Hi,
I own a 40 year old McCulloch 650 and I am trying to find a new chain and sprocket for it. The chain has a pitch of half an inch and has 51 links. If it's not possible to get this chain, does anyone know whether I can get it converted to say .404 chain?

If you take your saw to a local mower shop they should be able to supply an Oregon sprocket and bar as you will have a lot of trouble finding a 1/2 chain and sprocket for the saw.

I ended up modifying a .404 sprocket to fit the machine and am now running .404 chain
