Hi all this is one of my victa utility's,only just done with this one few little bits to go on yet but runs and cuts great..i did heaps of work on the 125 a port job carb mods head mods this one ive done up to work hard!, im very happy with the power..and paint is matt black Somthing Different i guess abit of a hot rod one haha....

few more pics and this mower is 100% as i got it from the tip apart from the new paint Engine mods and good going over..and yeah the tank was like that when i got it its steel ive not got any more like this one dont think the tank was off it? the fuel tap was missing is all...

Well besides the colour I think you've done a fantastic job.Good to here it was rescued from the landfill monster.Many good mowers have gone over the edge.This is good for another 30 years or more.Well done there.

Thank's...i did not spend to much time on it aprt from the engine as far as it's a work horse .. Ive been looking at a few of your mower's and you do a very good job doing them up...And yep so true how many good mower's have gone into landfill most with nothing wrong as well bugger o well...The times we live in ya dont fix anything, off to the tip it goe's and go get a new one! ...Work's out good for me and the rest of us..As far as hobbies go it"s cheap so far ,lets hope it dont catch on haha for now anyway.....

Hi Chris, I think the old victa's look great in black myself! did you use a gun to paint it or just rattle cans? I tried some bunnings "fiddly bits" cans but not overly happy with them, not for mowers anyway seems to scratch easy and the flat paint has heaps too much gloss! not what I would call flat!

Hi aitchey the problem with spray cans is the high amount of thinners in them for the amount of paint.The better quality paint cans have more paint in them but still at a ratio of 80% thinners and 20% paint.The cheaper ones have even more thinners in them.I guess that's why you don't get a great finish on them.
