Having a bit of a reorganise and my twins have lost their home.

Havent done anything with them, havent had a chance to look at them and most likely never will.

Before I search out a new home for them in the deep dark depths of the back shed I thought I would put them up here to see if there is any interest.

Mower one.
500 twin.
Complete
Turns over fine.
Starter rope broken (like this when i got it)
1 bar missing in the top of the cover
Crack in cover about 2in long running forwards from the fuel tank filler hole.
Muffler looks to have been plated over with aluminium.
Disc cracked, blades shot. (im sure ive got a disc here)
Back axle drops out (well theres a bit of wire that half keeps it in) needs clips.
One notch is busted out of the plastic height thing. (Im sure ive got one here that will fit it)
Comes with the correct pointy cap for the air cleaner housing.
Catcher is sun faded. Has a crack in the bottom and front lip needs some work.
Base is good, no cracks or damage apart from a few scrapes.

Mower two
Supreme.
Complete.
Runs but only on rear cyl.
Muffler is shot, been plated but its coming off.
2 bars on top grille closest to the starter knob are broken at the front.
Crack in cover behind starter knob and under the knob at rest theres a small hole. Cord has cut into the cover a bit as well.
Front edge of the base has been battering rammed in a bit.
Catcher is better than no catcher, front edge needs some work. The top handle is a bit spongy and squishy definatley would not handle being used much more before it broke.
Not sure if this is meant to have a pointy air cleaner cap, but I think I have one here.
Disc and blades are good.

Mower three.
500 twin.
Complete.
Pulls over fine. Might even run, never tried. Pretty sure fuel tap is shot. When I bought it they had had it running.
Cover is good.
Base is good except scrapes on the LH side.
Missing plastic clamp handle off handle.
Lower catches stickey. Piviots loose in base.
Muffler is shot.
Disc is cracked, blades are wrong.
Catcher is good.
Mower is the better of the two.

Ive got a bit of an idea of what these are worth. Well what I would like to get. If you would like to express an opinon please do so in the thread. I had considered putting them on eBay, but I am thinking that can be a bit hit and miss. What do you guys think??
All three together??
Seprately finishing all at the same time??
I would like to keep them together, well thats a lie, I dont care, what I would like is for it to just be one transaction. Lessens the chances of having to deal with 3 of those people. You know........them! lol

If you are interested in them but say dont have the cash ring now, sing out.
If you would like to make an offer please send me a PM.
I might consider part payment on a 100cc+ chainsaw. 076 or 051 Stihl preffered.

I am more than happy to knock up a pallet and pack these to be freighted. They can be forked on next door during business hours, truck access is no issue.

I do have a few extra pics, if you want them I can email them.

Cheers, Bob.

I know you love em.

The better orange one there, appart from the surface rust on the handles, warrants just being left as it is. No resto no anything. Its not perfect but its probably one of the better fairly well used examples out there. Well probably not quite as good as your 'goliath'

Its a pitty I cant say the same about the supreme. I mean you could leave it as is then turn it into resto fodder if a better one shows up oneday.

How cool would that be, a set of 3 in good original un resored state. a set of 3 totally restored. (well a 500 twin, a supreme and a 500 twin done up to be a pretend gold)
The with the spares left over you would have enough to cobble up something that you could actually mow your grass with. Why?? Because they sound totally awesome thats why.

Your right there bob they do sound awesome, they just have a sound like no others, with less vibration. It's not called pretend bob it would be called replica. I may have do that I still would like to get a hold of one just to see what the changes are. They all have something different which can help I'd them. Like I know (and can tell) the different's between the 1st & 2nd versions of the 500 Twin. There is just small changes between them.
